Idea
Ok, with Lori and Joe here last night I had an idea... I am hoping this works. Lori and I were talking and it seems we (as the in-laws) don't seem to hear a lot of family news. So I was wondering if we had a family blog page that families could post on weekly, bi weekly, or whenever they want... hopefully frequently we can keep up with everyone.
It's nice to hear the family happenings in other times, besides holidays or rough times. I hope you all agree........ so here it goes......
RAGBRAI rolled through Indianola yesterday and it was real good to spend time with Joe and Lori. We had friends over and spent the day watching the bikes. Jenny and Jamie played soccer in the Iowa games last weekend and won the Gold medal. They will play in a 3 v 3 tournament this coming weekend. In a couple weeks Jenny will be tumbling in the Jr. Olympics... probably her last go around in the tumbling/trampoline circuit. Her advanced coach is moving and Jim and I are trying to encourage them to priortize what they really want to do in High School. Kyle is working everyday and spending his extra time with friends. He is ready to move back into the Fraternity house and out of Mom & Dad's house. Jim is very busy with work and travels more...next week will be in Illinois for most of the week. I still have a job, rumor has it we will merge with Mercy October 1, so time will tell. That's news from our family this week.. can't wait to see if this takes off. tracy
